Early Morning Swim

Good Morning!

I have a short, but sweet post for you today.  This morning {very early} I hit the pool for another cross-training session.  Using yesterday's workout as a guide, I changed it up just a little bit by adding some longer intervals.  The kick board intervals remained, as well as the "see how far you can swim" interval in the middle.

Here's what I did:
10 min warm up

6 x 75 on {45 seconds rest} using a kick board for #2, 4 & 6

-2 min rest-

3 x 100, last 25 of each one FAST on {1 min rest} using a kick board for #2

-2 min rest-

150 yards using a kick board

-2 min rest -

Long swim -- 500 yards

- 2 min rest -

150 yards using a kick board

Cool down

It feels so good to get a workout in so early in the morning!  Yesterday I had the opportunity to be a part of a commerical shoot for the upcoming LVHN Marathon for Via.  Once I receive some photos that were taken while there, I will be sure to fill you in on the details.

Here is a preview...the one and only photo I have of the day.  This is Cecily Tynan filming at the Industrial Quarter in downtown Bethlehem.

It was a nice day and everyone from Channel 6 ABC was delightful.  Time for work...TGIF!

Why wasn't I invited in the photo shoot or for the pool workout? I plan to run the VIA marathon, and I swim daily? What the heck!!!???
